Associated Earthworks

Earthworks are an important part of transport infrastructure. GEOfabrics geotextile and geocomposites are used in construction and maintenance of embankments, cuttings and other earthworks.

Embankments and Cuttings

GEOfabrics wide width drainage geocomposites used in place of stone drainage layers offer significant benefits. Geocomposite drains can help manage groundwater, or accelerate consolidation of placed fill. This can offer huge time, cost and environmental gains on large earthworks operations such as those found on highway or rail projects.

Geotextiles are also used to provide filtration for drainage systems, and protection for liners with uses in storage lagoons, settlement ponds, swales and variety of other SUDS features.
